During week 3 of this project the United States is finally feeling deep affects of the Cornoa virus. Restaurants, events, venues, all groups over 10 have been shut down. CA and NYC are now shelter in place. People are striving to maintain some sort of normalcy during this social distancing, and businesses are turning to teleconferencing in attempts to continue revenue streams.
New Service Added
My clients decided to fully adopt a new service of video conferencing with their customers and dogs. This is an excellent time (social distancing) to add this service, so I will need to go back to the design board and spend more time there.
New Search Term “Virtual dog training”
This also brings into question of capitalizing on the search term “virtual _”, much like the “near me” phase of search in the web search industry recently. This will add additional work for keyword strategies.
Presenting Design
I presented the mobile design and collected feedback around verbiage. As suspected, he liked blue, and of course he liked the hero image being his own photograph of his own 2 dogs.
What I said on the left, client feedback on the right.
I gained a lot more information today, such as the addition of a 25 Day Challenge for $32, as well as other pricing for virtual training and consultation. This is A LOT more content to add into the design.
Conference Call Notes
Congratulations on all your hard work so far! I can feel the forward momentum. You have your first training video published, FB page is up, and you are calling for the business to come in! We’re going to shift our focus towards marketing virtual dog training during this time of social distancing.
Discussed on today’s call, we reviewed the messaging and design as it would appear on the phone. I heard you say to remove yelling, punishing, and choking and replace it with more positive verbiage. Add “tolerance of frustration” to the list. Have you punished your dog and then felt bad about it? Mention fun 3 minute games. Add the new service of virtual dog training, and serves the world via the Internet. Accepting payments at Venmo, Paypal. The 25 day challenge was added, banner and flyer provided. New pricing includes challenge: 1 hour video chat $50, 3 chat package $120, and 5 chat package $200.
